Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was an athlete and captain in the 2012 fierce 5 and 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. In 2012, she was awarded gold medals in team competitions along with the floor exercise. In the balance beam, Raisman earned a bronze. This made her the Olympics gymnast with the most medals. In the 2016, Olympics she won a silver medal for the team event which earned her and teammate Gabby Douglas the honour of being the first Americans to have two consecutive teams gold medals. Additionally, she took home two silver medals, one for the floor exercise as well as individual all-around. The two Olympics she took her time from competing over three seasons. In addition, she was part of the gold medal winning American team at two World Championships. Her favorite event is the dance on the floor. The gymnastics training began in the year she turned two years older. Aly is a member of with the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. As for the future, she is planning to create a profession out of fashion. Also, she would like to increase her range of leotards and sock collection. Fierce is a novel she is working on will launch later in the year.
